Sr. Yulianna, from Indonesia, joins the Academy of Our Lady, to lead our Religious Education program.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sr. Yulianna Meno, SSpS (Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters). I am happy to be able to teach at the Academy of Our Lady as the Religious Education Coordinator. I have known about this placement since June of this year and I am thrilled to be able to work here.
My previous teaching experience includes teaching Religion at an elementary school before entering the convent. While in the convent, I taught Religion in high school for two years. I have spent five years studying Philosophy and Theology and I am looking forward to contributing to the religious formation of our young children.
I live in a convent with three other sisters. My sisters are from Indonesia, Argentina and the United States. When I came to this country I brought very few material possessions, but a heart full of eagerness to share my love of God. I am very excited to become part of the Academy of Our Lady family.
