Elizabeth Delorit feels very blessed to be teaching music and Spanish at the Academy of Our Lady. After completing her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Northwestern University, Beth went on to teach abroad in Linares, Chile in 2009. From 2006-2009, she played flute in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has traveled to Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Nicaragua, and Slovenia on orchestra tours. Beth also taught music in the Chicago Public Schools through the MusiCorps program for two years. In May 2010, Beth traveled on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to start a music program in the school district in Los Toros. In her free time, Beth enjoys running, mountain biking, researching, being outside, performing music, traveling, keeping in touch with her friends, and spending time with her family. Beth is looking forward to a great year with great students at the Academy of Our Lady!
