Meet Our New Fourth Grade Teacher:
I would like to introduce myself to all the families at Academy of Our Lady. My name is Ann Heady, and I am very pleased to be teaching fourth grade this year. I grew up with my family in Vernon Hills and attended Carmel High School. I studied elementary education and mathematics at Marquette University in Milwaukee.
I have been working with children since I was old enough to baby sit. I still spend my summers working as a day camp director. Over the past two years I have worked at a middle school and a preschool giving me experience with a wide range of ages. I am very excited to be working with fourth graders and hope to start a math club this fall.
Everyone I have met at Academy of Our Lady has been very kind and welcoming. I cannot wait to meet the students in my class and their families. This is a wonderful school, and I am looking forward to a great year.
