Jose Chevere, “Mr. C”, is our 8th grade homeroom teacher and also our science teacher for our 7th grade students. Mr. C was born and raised in Chicago. After graduating from Chicago’s Lane Tech High School, he entered the United States Navy. While on active duty he earned a Bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University. After retiring from active duty, “Mr. C” entered education as a second career. He then attended Old Dominion University where he earned his Masters degree in teaching.
