The following programs are used to teach and develop the students' understanding of the computer.
- Microsoft Office: Students will learn how to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access
- KidPix: Students will use their creativity to make cards, slideshow or storyboards
- Type To Learn: Students will develop their typing speed and accuracy.
- Reader Rabbit: Pre-K through 3rd grade will learn and understand more about alphabets, numbers and patterns.
- Internet safety will be a priority so this will be emphasized always in computer class.
Students will be taught the basics of computers such as input and output devices, the file management system and how to write instructions/help.
Pre-K through 6th grade meet once a week while the 7th and 8th meet everyday.
For 7th and 8th graders: Learn about Computer History.
