Thank you for your interest in Academy of Our Lady.

We are a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade grammar school. Academy of Our Lady is recognized by the State of Illinois and approved by the Office of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Chicago with membership in the National Catholic Education Association.

Academy of Our Lady offers a challenging curriculum in the areas of math, science, language arts and social studies. Religion is taught each day and Christian values stressed throughout the curriculum. A strong fine arts program is provided through art, music, chorus, band and a yearly dramatic production. Physical education classes are offered weekly.

Technology is used as an aid to learning. Our school computer lab and classrooms are networked together with access to the Internet. In addition, all classrooms have their own computers.

Extracurricular activities may include volleyball, basketball as well as Student Council and Junior National Honor society. Activities may vary from year to year based upon student interest and availability of coaches.

Basic to our understanding of education is the concept of self-respect and self discipline. Students are taught to respect themselves and others, develop their own potential and make their own world a better place.
